"book in helping humanity...* It is overwhelming what God has done since then, and is still doing it even more. "
"In just two years the book has moved to 28 Nations, won an African Christian Book, Award (ACABA) 2024, birthed my daughters book, Journey Through the Bible which has also won the African Award and has now moved to 10 Nations just within one year. "
"As though that is not enough the book has been the top book in touching and blessings humanity, many people have experienced hope, psychological, emotional and physical healing through reading the book and now.... another book "She is Clothed with Strength and Dignity" ready to be launched....😭😭 All this happening just within 2 years? "
"I remember Bishop asking me, so how did you do it? But he is the one who prayed and God answered... "
"I remember Bishop sometimes back asking us to get Passports, as we were going to travel to places. I did it by faith but I never used it untill he prayed for my book to the Nations, and that is when God started opening doors...the award was being given in Kampala and that's where I began using my passport for the first time and in July 2025, God opened another opportunity for me to attend a 2 weeks international conference in India, for sure his prophesies are coming to pass, may the name of the Lord be praised. "
"Oh my God only you can help comfort and give us strength and the peace that we need at this time... "
"Papa, it's so hard to say goodbye....but you have laid a solid ground. Your Legacy leaves to generations through the many thousands of people you have mentored, raised and impacted to continue with the work of the ministry. "

"Bishop Joseph Likavo was more than a spiritual leader — he was my father, my covering, and my greatest example of faith in action. He lived the gospel he preached, loving deeply, serving selflessly, and standing firmly on truth. His prayers shaped lives, his wisdom guided many, and his legacy of humility and obedience to God will live on through generations. "
"Dad, your life was a sermon, your love a blessing, and your faith a light that will never go out. I honor you. I carry you. I continue the journey you began."

"Bishop Joseph Likavo was a father in the truest sense of the word. "
"When I lost my own father in 2003, God placed him in my life as a covering, a provider, and a steady presence. He stood for me without obligation, paying my school fees, clothing me, feeding me, praying for me, and believing in my future long before I could fully see it myself. "
"It is a profound irony that dad went to be with the Lord on 18th December 2025,the very day I graduated with my Master’s degree. I know in my heart that he would have been proud. Though I never heard the words, I carry the assurance of his pride within me. This academic milestone is therefore dedicated to him, with gratitude and love. I regret not giving him his flowers while he lived, yet I trust that his legacy continues to bloom through the many lives he touched. "
"Beside him stood a woman of unmatched strength and compassion,Rev. Janet Likavo. Mum, you carried the vision with grace and courage. You stood with widows, my mother included, not only offering help, but restoring dignity. You did not merely give fish; you showed many where the river is and taught them how to fish. Through empowerment, love, and faith, you turned pain into purpose for countless families. "
"As you now take up this mantle, may the love you poured into widows and orphans return to you a thousandfold. May God strengthen you beyond human understanding and surround you with peace, wisdom, and divine support as you continue this noble work. "
"On behalf of the many children whose lives you transformed, thank you, Dad, for choosing love, for choosing responsibility, and for choosing to show up. Your legacy lives on in us. Rest well Dad!"

"BishopBishop Likavo was a man of prayer, a devoted teacher of the Word, and a true shepherd of God’s people. His life touched countless souls in Eldoret City and beyond, leaving an imprint that will not fade with time. He carried himself with humility and grace, yet ministered with spiritual power and deep conviction. "
"I had the privilege of encountering him several times after moving to Eldoret in 2004. One moment that remains especially dear to my heart was when we met at Sirikwa Hotel. In that simple yet profound encounter, he told me that he prays for me—to be able to do evangelism, to touch young lives with excellence, and to minister with power. Those words were more than encouragement; they were a blessing and a calling that continues to guide my life. "
" "
"Bishop Likavo loved prayer deeply. He believed in its power to transform lives and nations. He also loved teaching the Word of God with clarity, wisdom, and sincerity, always pointing people to Christ rather than to himself. His life was a living sermon. "
" "
"Though he has gone to be with the Lord, his prayers, teachings, and spiritual investment in many lives continue to bear fruit. Eldoret is richer because he walked its streets, prayed in its churches, and poured into its people. "

"I knew of Bishop Likavo a long time, but it was not until I served under him at the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya Council that I got to know him personally. What hit you was how quiet he seemed, but somehow always had something to say that made perfect sense. He had such wisdom, whenever we had difficult decisions to make, until you heard his input you were sure the matter was not settled. He was funny, with an easy smile and an infectious laugh, took the seriousness out of a serious situation, helping lighten the mood and recalibrate the room. Bishop had a heart for people, seeking for ways to solve problems in a way that preserved relationships and helped keep the faith. As Joy, I gleaned from his wisdom, his kindness, his humility. We even were in the same Masters class at the International Leadership University, always learning and growing! Ah, Bishop, you did not care I was a girl, or I was young or I was not a Bishop, you called and sought counsel recognizing my little contribution as worth considering. I have no words to say, but to Thank our Lord and God for the gift of you. I have so much to say and yet find myself speechless at the same time. So I say, it is well. It is well. It is well. It is well. "

"EASTERN REGION TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED SPIRITUAL FATHER "
"Apostle Joseph Likavo "
"With deep reverence and gratitude to God, we as a Region honour the life and legacy of our departed gallant soldier of the Cross, our beloved Bishop and spiritual father, Apostle Joseph Likavo. "
"He was not only the founder of International Vision Centre Ministry, but also the initiator and architect of the *Regional pattern* that has shaped the life, structure, and growth of the ministry. He firmly believed in the church going the Regional way, having received clear direction from God that this was the pathway through which the ministry would grow, be sustained, and succeed in fulfilling its mandate. "
"Through his apostolic wisdom, Regions were never meant to be mere administrative units — they became spiritual families, grounded in prayer, accountability, discipleship, and servant leadership. "
"Remarkably, even with his demanding schedule and vast apostolic responsibilities, after launching the Regions, our Bishop intentionally made time to participate in Regional meetings and activities. He walked with us, listened to us, encouraged us, prayed with us, and stood with us — demonstrating leadership that was not distant, but present, personal, and deeply pastoral. "
"Our Bishop led by example. He poured himself into people, carried the burden of the work with humility, and showed us that true leadership is service. "
"Prayer was the foundation of his life and ministry, and he taught us that the power to lead is not born out of the flesh, but out of intimacy with God. "
"As a Region, we testify that we are who we are because of his obedience to God, his sacrifice, and his unwavering commitment to the vision. The principles he taught us, the discipline he instilled, and the love he demonstrated continue to guide us even now. "
"Today, we honour his memory, celebrate his life of faithful service, and recommit ourselves to carry forward the vision he entrusted to us. "
"Rest well, our spiritual father. "
"Your labour was not in vain. "

"As the Rays of Hope family, we are deeply saddened by the passing of our spiritual father, mentor, and greatest cheerleader, Bishop Joseph Likavo (IVC). He faithfully supported our vision, covered us in prayer, followed up to ensure we remained true to our purpose, and connected us to impactful networks. "
"Bishop Likavo was a remarkable leader—selfless, kind, and deeply committed to service. In January 2024, he dedicated Rays of Hope and consistently championed the cause of creating a more inclusive and supportive space for children with special needs within the church. "
"We are profoundly grateful for the time, guidance, and love he shared with us. His legacy will continue to inspire us. "
"May his soul rest in eternal peace."

"To a shepherd who truly knew his flock: Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus when I needed it most. You didn't just preach Christ’s ideologies; you lived them. You taught me that grace is a gift, but also that we have a responsibility to be good stewards through giving and wise investment. "
"When I was battling COVID-19 and felt my strength failing, your words were the anchor that gave me hope. You taught me how to tap into divine favor, and today, I stand as a testament to the faith you instilled in me. Rest well, Pastor. Your seeds are still growing in me."
